Life Challenge of Western North Carolina was established to further the gospel of Jesus Christ by evangelizing individuals with life controlling problems. Life Challenge’s mission is to help women overcome their addiction through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that they will fully invest into our program that offers discipleship to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, and to apply spiritually motivated Biblical principles to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community and to help them become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive!

Life Challenge believes that the only way a student can overcome their life-controlling problem is by establishing a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. According to a study conducted by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and Northwestern University, the success rate for individuals participating in a faith-based program is 86%! This percentage is found after tracking graduates from the program for seven years. The success rate among secular program averages 3-8%. We believe this is solely a a result of developing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Residential Treatment for Life Controlling Problems

Our residential program is for ladies aged 18-39 and is 12 months in length. We provide treatment and counseling for those with life-controlling problems.

Life Challenge Home

Life Challenge is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It is a beautiful three bedroom, two bath home with a library and classroom. Our goal is to make the girls comfortable when they arrive at Life Challenge and to have made a positive difference in their lives when they leave.
